Unopened six-bottle case, acquired from BBR. Blend: 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Carménère, 9% Cabernet Franc, 5% Merlot, and 2% Petit Verdot. Tasting Notes: Dark ruby-red color with aromas of blackberry jam, blueberry compote, black currant, and hints of bay leaf and herbs. The palate is intense with firm, concentrated tannins and a lingering finish. Alcohol: 14.5% – 15% Ratings: Received 96 points from critic James Suckling. Background: Le Petit Clos is the estate's second wine, offering a more approachable and earlier-drinking style than the flagship Clos Apalta while maintaining the same organic vineyard standards and craftsmanship.
