Château Siran Margaux 2018

A bright, expressive Margaux from the warm 2018 vintage. Ripe blackcurrant and plum are lifted by a gentle floral edge, with soft spice and fine tannins underneath. It’s polished without being glossy, and generous without feeling heavy — very much in the supple, aromatic Margaux mould. Drinking well already, but with enough structure to keep evolving. Drinking window: 2022–2032. ⸻ Producer Château Siran is one of Margaux’s long-established estates, known for a consistent, elegant style that leans more toward perfume and balance than power. In riper years like 2018, that approach works particularly well.
