Mas de Daumas Gassac Rouge, Pays d’Herault, Languadoc

Mas de Daumas, known as the ‘Lafite of Languedoc’ and the ‘First Growth of Languedoc’. Produced in the Haut Vallée du Gassac in the L’Herault region from 80% Cabernet Sauvignon with the remaining 20% from 10 other grape varieties including Grenache, Cinsault and Tempranillo. The wine was purchased en-primeur from Adnams wines in Suffolk and stored in-bond until 2016 and has since been stored in the cellar of my house. ** NB: note that this wine doesn’t show as Cuvee Emile Peynaud but that is the only listing available** ** price is for 2 bottles**
