A beautifully crafted Côte-Rôtie from Pierre Gaillard, showcasing the elegance and finesse of the Northern Rhône. The “Rose Pourpre” cuvée is a Syrah-led wine (with a small proportion of Viognier typical of the appellation), offering a refined balance of aromatic intensity and structure. The 2015 vintage is widely regarded as excellent in the Rhône, delivering ripe dark fruit, floral notes, spice and silky tannins with impressive depth and length. Now entering a very attractive drinking window, while still capable of further ageing. This bottle has been stored in a temperature-controlled wine fridge since purchase, ensuring it has been well kept. Condition is very good (see photos). A great option for Rhône enthusiasts or for drinking now with decanting.
