Schistes by Coume del Mas is a full-bodied, expressive 100% Grenache Noir from the steep, terraced coastal slopes of Collioure in Roussillon, southern France. Grown on the appellation’s distinctive schist soils, it combines richness and depth with a pronounced mineral character. Ripe red and dark berries are layered with wild Mediterranean herbs (garrigue), warm cocoa spice and leathery notes. With extended bottle ageing, the wine has developed a beautifully mature, complex character. A wine for lovers of mature, aged reds.
