Technical Profile & Specifications Appellation: IGT Toscana, Italy Estate Vineyard: A sun-drenched, southwest-facing 20-hectare plot located at the Tenuta Tignanello estate, rooted in stony limestone (alberese) and flaky calcareous clay (galestro). The 2010 Blend: 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Sangiovese, 5% Cabernet Franc. Alcohol Content: 14% ABV. Aging Process: Matured for 16 months in new French oak barriques followed by further refinement in the bottle prior to its commercial release. Critical Reception & Cellar Value The 2010 growing season experienced a rainy winter and delayed spring, but an extended, sun-filled autumn allowed for one of the longest, most pristine harvests on record. This meticulous ripening resulted in monumental high-scoring praise: James Suckling: 98 / 100 Wine Advocate (Robert Parker): 97 / 100 Cellar Window: Ready to drink now after a 2–3 hour decant, but possesses ample life to gracefully age and develop through 2035–2040.
