A traditional red Burgundy from the respected Pommard-based domaine, known for its classically styled Pinot Noir, combining structure, earthy complexity and elegant red-fruited character. Expect notes of red cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry, complemented by savoury earth, forest floor, subtle spice and hints of dried leaves as the wine develops with age. Approaching two decades of maturity, this is an appealing bottle for enthusiasts of traditional Côte de Beaune Burgundy. Purchased at auction and stored in a temperature-controlled wine fridge since purchase. The label has a small tear.
