100 Wine Independent 99 Vinous 96 RP The Aubert Lauren Chardonnay 2023 comes from the Lauren Estate Vineyard on the Sonoma Coast in California. This was Aubert`s first estate vineyard, planted on gravelly Goldridge soils with four distinct Chardonnay clones. This wine is consistently one of the most concentrated and layered in the portfolio, blending a Sonoma Coast character with white Burgundy inspiration. The medium to full-bodied 2023 vintage features complex notes of Bosc pears, honeydew melon, honeycomb, marzipan, chalk dust and lime blossoms. The palate is supported by a taut, focused acidity that drives a long, expressive finish. Stored in EuroCave since purchase direct from winery.
