99 RP 98 Vinous The Aubert CIX Estate Chardonnay 2023 is a single-vineyard wine from the cool climate of the Sonoma Coast, California, made entirely from the Montrachet clone of Chardonnay. The wine delivers a beguilingly complex profile, with dense aromas of apricot, persimmon, honey and opal apple, complemented by an underlying flinty terroir note. The palate is rich expansive and enveloping, offering full flavours of apple galette and lemon oil alongside a seductive streak of toasted hazelnut. The CIX Estate Vineyard is renowned for its Goldridge soils which impart a distinctive mineral richness. Stored in EuroCave since purchase direct from winery.
