Charles Heidsieck Rosé Millésimé 1999 Brut Champagne – 75cl

A mature vintage rosé from one of Champagne’s most distinctive historic houses. Charles Heidsieck founded his Reims maison in 1851 and became known internationally as “Champagne Charlie”; the house remains celebrated for its deep chalk crayères and its rich, vinous style. The 1999 season followed a notably mild winter and finished with a sunny, mild September, with Pinot Noir performing particularly well. This Rosé Millésimé blends 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, including 10% red wine, giving the cuvée the structure and depth associated with mature vintage rosé Champagne. Carefully stored in a Master of Wine’s wine store. The front label remains attractive and legible with some age-related marks. The rear label has substantial scuffing and edge wear. The gold capsule is perfectly intact. Bottle only, with no presentation box.
