Dobogó Tokaji Aszú 6 Puttonyos 2005, 50cl – Bottle No. 03004

Dobogó is a small Tokaj producer known for concentrated, traditionally styled sweet wines. This limited-production 2005 Tokaji Aszú 6 Puttonyos was selected from an excellent vintage: the original rear label records a cool, rainy summer followed by a long, dry and sunny autumn, producing ripe botrytised fruit with refreshing acidity and considerable ageing potential. Only 4,000 bottles were made; this is individually numbered bottle 03004. Carefully stored in a Master of Wine’s wine store. The wine is a deep amber colour consistent with bottle age and the fill remains into the neck. The front and rear labels show substantial age-related staining, creasing, rubbing and edge wear but remain legible. The gold capsule is intact with light denting and surface wear. 50cl bottle only, with no presentation box. Sold as seen; no returns.
