Charles Heidsieck was founded in Reims in 1851 by Charles-Camille Heidsieck—celebrated internationally as ‘Champagne Charlie’—and is renowned for long cellar ageing in its historic Gallo-Roman chalk crayères. The 1999 vintage produced ripe, generous Champagnes with the freshness and structure needed for extended ageing. This Rosé Millésimé reflects the house’s characteristically rich, vinous style and is now a mature vintage Champagne with more than two decades of bottle age. Carefully stored in a Master of Wine’s wine store. The front label is attractive and clearly legible with light age-related marking. The rear label has slight scuffing, scratches and edge loss, although the main details remain readable. Bottle only, with no presentation box. Sold as seen; no returns.
